Please see attached SLIDESHOW.
Students finished and turned in last week's packets on Monday, and then read the next selection in our books. After all were ready, we began work with Tone. Tuesday we will finish discussing Tone and address Theme in the newest selection. In all hours we did not get past the "Theme" slide; Wednesday we will all begin group work with additional literary terms. We will also discuss Theme in greater depth on Wednesday.
Thursday we will discuss examples of all of those literary terms and turn in Wednesday's group work. We will also review vocabulary and review for Friday's quiz. After the quiz on Friday, students will work on their narrative essays. A handout will be attached HERE soon with directions, and students will receive that in-class upon turning in their quizzes. The Narrative Essay will not be due until Wednesday, 10-5.
