1. Read for ten minutes.
2. Complete worksheet over run-on sentences and correct these (for notes; not input as a grade)
3. Begin learning TIQAC formula for body paragraphs and begin applying it to question # 10 on page 367 of the textbook, which is: Why might Stockton have left the ending of his story ambiguous--was he trying to make a particular point or create a particular effect? Explain whether you think the ambiguous ending makes the story memorable.
***You may receive extra credit by also weaving into your paragraph five vocabulary words from "The Lady, or the Tiger?"; these words are: exuberant, genial, impartial, allegiance, procured, dire, retribution, fervent, aspiring, and deliberation.
*We will do an example as a class, and then students will pick up from there and create their own. This will start, again, on Monday, so there is no homework.
